Founded in 2021 by Emma and Charlotte, EB & Co. Mediation offers specialized family mediation and divorce coaching services for couples navigating separation and divorce. With extensive experience across Essex, Cambridgeshire, and Suffolk, both founders previously worked as mediation specialists for a major regional law firm, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their practice.

Navigating a divorce or separation can be financially taxing. In the UK, the average cost of going through a divorce or separation using a solicitor is approximately £14,561, which includes legal fees and lifestyle costs*.
In contrast, the average cost of using mediation services with EB & Co. Mediation is significantly lower. Our mediation services cost approximately 15% of that figure, at about £2,200.

Family Mediation Voucher Scheme

Since May 2021, 15,300 families have used the mediation voucher scheme (administered by the Family Mediation Council).
An analysis of the scheme published in March 2023 surveyed 7,214 families. Of these 69% of families were able to reach agreement on some or all issues without the need to go to Court. This success rate increased to 76% when families continued in mediation spending more than the voucher.

For young people navigating the complexities of their parents’ separation, EB & Co. Mediation offers a valuable and sensitive service called Child-Inclusive Mediation. This voluntary and confidential process gives you a safe space to talk to a neutral, trained mediator about your feelings and what you think might help. It’s a chance to have your voice heard without having to choose between your parents, and nothing you say is shared without your consent. It’s about helping your parents understand your perspective so that the family can move forward in a way that works for everyone.
